This policy explains what data CB Calc collects and why. CB Calc has no user accounts and does not require you to provide any personal information to use it.
Data collected
1. Custom buttons and calculator data
Your custom buttons, their instructions, and your button order are stored locally on your device. This data is not sent to us or to any third party.
2. Currency conversion rates
If you create a custom button that converts between currencies, CB Calc requests exchange rates from [frankfurter.dev](https://frankfurter.dev), a free, third-party exchange-rate service. Each request includes only the currency codes needed to fetch the rate (e.g. USD, EUR) — no personal information is included. As with any network request, your device's IP address is visible to frankfurter.dev's servers as part of standard internet communication; we do not control or have access to how that service logs or retains this information. 3. Analytics
CB Calc uses [PostHog](https://posthog.com), a product analytics service, to understand how the app is used and to improve it. This includes:
- App opens and session length
- Which features are used (e.g. custom button creation, currency conversion)
- Crash and error reports (unhandled app errors)
This data is tied to a randomly generated device/session identifier, not to your name, email, or any account — CB Calc has no accounts. We do not sell this data, and it is not used to track you across other companies' apps or websites, and it is not shared with advertising networks.
Data we do NOT collect
- No account or sign-up is required, so we do not collect names, emails, or passwords.
- We do not access your contacts, location, camera, or photos.
- We do not use advertising and do not share data with ad networks.

Children's privacy
